如何排除考研英语相似选项之间的同义词干扰项?

在英语阅读块面,仔细阅读考研文章之后, 再来看题目和选项, 相比很多同学都已经发现一个共性,那就是:同义替换。很多题目和选项都或多或少的与原文里的句子有些不大一样,但是意思却基本相同。下面陕西文都考研就考研英语里出现的同义替换简要跟大家来分享下,希望在以后的阅读过程中注意此类选项和原文做对比, 以提高做题效率。
 
1. 将people, persons替换为 individuals, folks (人,人们)
 
例句:Each person receives two genes, one inherited from each parent.
 
将person替换为individual:
 
Each individual receives two genes, one inherited from each parent.
 
2. 将常见的good 替换为 sound, decent, promising, excellent,outstanding等  (好的,卓越的,优秀的)
 
光明的未来:a good future 替换为 a promising future
 
好的薪水:a good salary 替换为 a decent salary
 
合理的建议:good advice 替换为 sound advice
 
3. 将同学常用的not only..., but also...替换为 not simply..., but... as well (不仅,而且)
 
例句:Are electric cars not simply cleaner, but safer as well?
 
4. 将同学常用的enough替换为 sufficient, abundant  (足够的,充足的)
 
例句:We need sufficient time to deal with the problem.
 
There are abundant opportunities for well-qualified staff.
 
5. 将important 替换为 primary, major, chief (主要的)
 
例句:The chief reason for this is that people are living longer.
 
The government’s major concern is with preventing road accidents.
 
Our primary concern is to provide the refugees with food and health care.
 
6. 将 emphasize 替换为 stress, highlight(强调)
 
例句:The report stressed that student math skills need to improve.
 
Your resume should highlight your skills and achievements.
 
7. 将 evidence 替换为 proof, fact(证据)
 
例句:This latest interview was further proof of how good at her job Jasmine was.
 
The school’s poor exam record is largely due to the fact that it is chronically underfunded.
 
8. 将 different 替换为 distinct (不同的)
 
例句:The learning needs of the two groups are quite distinct from each other.
 
9. 将 young person 替换为 youngster, the young(年轻人)
 
例句:A youngster has absolutely zero chance right now of finding a fixed job.
 
10. 将 meaningful 替换为 fulfilling (有意义的)
 
例句:Nursing is still one of the most fulfilling careers.
 
11. 将 short-term 替换为 temporary, transient
 
例句:The bridge was erected as a temporary measure.
 
They can also make sense for enterprise personas in transient job roles.
 
12. 将 ignore 替换为 neglect, overlook
 
例句:Many of these ideas have been neglected by modern historians.
 
Nobody could overlook the fact that box office sales were down.
 
13. 将 often 替换为 frequently, now and again
 
例句:The illness frequently coexists with other chronic diseases.
 
Markets crash now and again.
 
14. 将 surprising 替换为 amazing, astonishing, unbelievable
 
例句:It’s amazing how often you see drivers using mobile phones.
 
Human being will continue to adapt to the changing climate in both ordinary   and astonishing ways.
 
Chronology is an informative and entertaining tour into history, beautifully illustrated and full of unbelievable facts.
 
15.  将huge 替换为 tremendous, massive, gigantic
 
例句:This plan could save us a tremendous amount of money.
 
There has been a massive increase in oil prices.
 
A gigantic task of national reconstruction awaits us.
 
16.  将 choose 替换为 , pick, single out
 
例句:I’m going to pick the team for the match on Saturday.
 
His immediate superior has singled him out for a special mention.
 
17.  将support 替换为 back up, uphold
 
例句:His claims are not backed up by any scientific evidence.
 
It is the responsibility of every government to uphold certain basic principles.
